Penny will once again be teaching at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 August inclusive. There will be a choice of two one hour classes; “Making a Thread Catcher” and “Folded Log Cabin”.  A full day class is being offered on making a “Segmented Whirling Circle”   Anglia Leisure Learning Ltd are offering weekend residential courses taught by Penny. These are in various locations from Gatwick to Birmingham. For more information please look at their website: www.anglialeisurelearning.co.uk Classes for beginners continue to be popular and Penny is concentrating on teaching these at Amy’s Haberdashery in Lymington. These are taster sessions where you can learn a technique and make a finished project. The classes are small with limited numbers so each student can benefit from individual help and assistance. NEC Penny will be teaching at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 August inclusive. There are one hour classes entitled “All Tied Up”, 2Wavy Sashing” and Positive/Negative. These are suitable for all levels and give a taster of the techniques involved.
Amy’s haberdashery Amy’s haberdashery is the new shop in St Thomas Street in Lymington offering a selection of threads, buttons, wool etc. Penny will be teaching a beginners patchwork class. For details and to join up contact Amy on 01590 679034.
